Carter Memorial
Church History
During the pastorate of Rev. Curtis T. Robinson that a vision was formed to develop programs that
would meet the needs of the church community.
In 1987, because of the growth of the congregation and the
need for more physical space, Carter Chapel C.M.E. Church relocated to our present site and a resolution was
made to change the church name to Carter Memorial C.M.E. Church.
